Preparatory Department’s nine-month foundation programme includes an intensive course in Russian and study of several field-specific disciplines. The course starts in September and ends in June. In the first semester, students learn Russian four to five hours a day. In the second semester, field-specific subjects are added to the study plan depending on the chosen University department and future occupation. After completing the course, students get a Russian language certificate to apply for university degree programmes.
